
Bridgewater State College (BSU) has obtained roughly $380,000 from the Massachusetts Know-how Collaborative (MassTech) to advance undergraduate quantum expertise training, hands-on laboratory coaching, and workforce growth. Awarded via the MassTech Know-how and Innovation Ecosystem program, the grant funds the procurement of three commercial-grade quantum programs throughout computing, sensing, and cybersecurity.
{Hardware} Procurement and Interdisciplinary Curriculum
Led by Physics Professor Ed Deveney (who established BSU’s Lab for Quantum Research in 1999), the funding brings specialised tools to campus to supply undergraduate college students with direct {hardware} expertise:
